At first glance, this piece appears to be a light, softly draped fabric. Yet upon closer inspection, the viewer is met with an unexpected reality — the “fabric” is a solid sculptural form, frozen in motion.
The work explores the contrast between visual and physical perception. I wanted to emphasize that, in both art and life, not everything is what it seems. Softness may be hardness in disguise, and the familiar may turn out to be an illusion. This sculptural canvas invites the viewer to reflect on the duality of perception and question the reliability of appearances.
