About this artwork
Clay modelled by hand into deep folds that behave like draped fabric. The base is a solid panel, sealed with a protective coating. The shadows inside the folds do most of the work: the sharper the light, the deeper the relief. Hangs vertically or horizontally.
Handmade by Valery Dumanova, Gran Canaria. Shipped worldwide with a certificate of authenticity.

I can create this artwork in another size. Every piece is made by hand, so a new one will be close but never an exact copy: the texture, the movement of the material and the small details always come out a little differently. That is the point of handmade work, and it is not a print.
